NEW YORK CITY: As the antithesis to his minimalist Town, Geoffrey Zakarian is opening the elegantly adorned Country on lower Madison Avenue in the Carlton Hotel. Doug Psaltis, formerly of Mix (and the author of a controversial chef tell-all), is the chef for the fine-dining restaurant upstairs and the Café at Country, an informal spot downstairs that opened earlier this month.
